Advancing our Mission to Promote Global Health and Early Detection
Lutech is making significant progress in our global initiatives by bridging the gap for underserved countries that lack adequate facilities for cervical exams and cancer screenings. Through partnerships and dedicated efforts, we have established a presence in eight countries internationally, extending crucial health services to women who otherwise might not have access. In addition to our international outreach, we have also expanded our impact within the United States by working with seven new VA locations.
Recapping the Initiatives
Lutech’s dedicated outreach has established a clear presence providing essential health services to women who previously had limited access.
Costa Rica
In collaboration with HERhealthEQ, ten Lutech digital colposcopes were deployed across Costa Rica in 2023, increasing cervical cancer screening availability for women in need. The initiative reached 5,992 women in its first year, and now the current number of lives touched has soared to 21,856. Each screening represents the progress made toward saving lives globally.
Ghana
While partnering with HERhealthEQ and AGES Ltd., Lutech Medical facilitated the deployment of both mobile and stationary colposcopes, expanding care throughout southern Ghana. This milestone was achieved with the donation of 10 colposcopes in Accra, Ghana and the commitment of frontline workers like Theresa Sarfo-Bonsu, who guaranteed she would put the devise to good use. In less than a year, 16,000 women gained access to cervical screenings in southern Ghana.
The combined efforts of these teams and supporters have made substantial progress toward global health and early cancer detection. These once underserved areas now have the tools and knowledge they deserve, all made possible by Lutech’s dedicated partners, providers, and supporters.

It is crucial to recognize that the need for global healthcare initiatives live right here within the United States as well.
This year, Lutech helped to equip and train seven new Veterans Affairs (VA) clinics across the country with state-of-the-art digital colposcope systems. This initiative has enabled the clinics to offer advanced cervical health services with streamlined exams and improved follow-up care enhancing the quality of life for U.S. veterans.
Expanding Digital Colposcopy
Throughout 2025, more than 140 sites have upgraded to Lutech’s Digital Colposcopes. Implementing this advanced technology streamlines exam times and creates a more comfortable experience for patient and provider. The precise, color-accurate, high-definition imagery from the LT-300HD which is securely uploaded to patient EMRs allows physicians to collaborate and easily track disease progression. Digital colposcopy not only elevates a practices ability to improve the standard of patient care but encourages more women to prioritize their cervical health.
